Today unofficially commemorates one of the things I love most... STAR WARS!!!
I am fully aware how silly that might sound to some but honestly, I don't really care. And neither should you. We only get one go on this rock (as far as I know) so we might as well enjoy ourselves right? And if one of those things is spending 4 days with 150,000 fellow Star Wars devotees, then why not?
Two weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim so here are some of the photos I caught while I was there. I had an amazing time and if it's possible came out of the convention even more of a fanatic than before.
Now, some people might say, "Ronnie, not everyone has the time or money to just go off and do stuff like that, no matter how much they love it."
My answer to that is that even when I didn't have the means that I do now, I still made sure to let myself... well, enjoy myself!
And I think that's my point. I feel like too few people today allow themselves to have fun. Instead they allow themselves to get hung up on things like I don't have enough money or I don't have enough time or I don't want people to think I'm weird...
DO WHAT YOU LOVE. As long as you're not impeding on someone else's happiness or doing them harm, then just go for it. Embrace your inner weirdo. That's what makes you cool.
So enjoy these fine fine examples of people unabashedly just going with it! And if you want to see more photos from the convention, visit my other blog Dream Builders Club (while you're there you can also learn how I was able to create the time and financial freedom to go to these conventions... did I mention I'll be going to the one in London next year?)
