Creating new habits (or re-estabilishing old ones) can be difficult. On top of everything else that we HAVE to do in our lives, most of the time it's easier to not make changes. After all, it's easier to keep things as they are and moving in the direction they're moving than alter the settings and chart a different course.
However, if you want to make changes in your life this is a reality that you just have to face.
For me, after years of focusing on growing my business I was finding it difficult to break the inertia of getting back into the habit of playing and composing music again. Music was (and is) a huge part of my life but it had been pushed aside for so long. And the longer I neglected it, the easier it was to neglect. After all, an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
But not anymore. I wanted to change the trajectory of my love and passion for music so I had to find a way to break the inertia of zero movement. And so I've given myself a challenge – something that's going to FORCE me to get back into the habit of playing music on a regular basis. What is the challenge you ask? Well, just watch the video below and find out.
